Blackberries

 Today we headed off on an adventure. We picked yummy blackberries and then headed back to class and made yummy blackberry muffins.

  It is hard to believe we are now in the last few weeks of school.   As always, we have a lots going on this week, please read through the notices to make sure you know what is happening each day. Monday: Junior school Big Day In  Your child needs their swimming togs, a named water gun, sunhat and your $5 for lunch if not already paid. All junior children can wear home clothes to school for our Fun day. Tuesday: Junior Tryathlon; 11:15 What to bring: bike/scooter, helmet, sneakers, togs. If Parents are available to help please contact your child's teacher.   Wednesday / Thursday Normal school days.   Friday: Year 0-2 Assembly; 2:05 Our children will be hosting our final school Assembly.  Our Year 2 children will be organising the assembly with the support of our Year 0 and 1 children.  Some children will be bring home ‘words’ that they will be saying at our assembly.  All whānau are welcome to join us       Swimming This week ...

Midweek update

 This week has gone so quickly with lots of excitement around the show. Today for the show tonight please have the children back between 5:30 and 6pm.  Please pick them up from Kakano any time after 7:15pm and before 7:30pm. Tomorrow for golden time the children could not decide on a PJ party, teddy bears picnic or hot chips, so we have decided to do all 3. The children can bring a teddy and their pajamas in their school bag (we will get changed after morning tea). Can they also bring a gold coin to go towards the hot chips.  They can also still order sausage sizzle and juicy or bring more lunch.  Have a wonderful holidays and enjoy your family time.
