Kia ora whānau, it’s lovely to see the sun out again. Let’s hope it stays that way for most of this week. Our kakano tamariki love being able to play outside and sorely missed that last week. Cross Country Weather permitting, this is happening on Friday the 26th August at 11:10am at school. Children need to wear their school uniform to school and bring either their PE gear OR shorts and t-shirt to change into. Children will also need to bring shoes to run in as we are running on the footpath as well as the field. If you are able to help, please let your child’s classroom teacher know as soon as possible. Library our library day is a Friday. We are very lucky to have the use of a school library. Could you please ensure the children bring their library bags and books back each week so they can choose new ones. We have some children with very overdue library books. Mini Marathon A reminder that the form and payment need to be handed into the office by Tuesday 23rd August - that’s this

Here are a few photos. Check out the school Facebook page for more photos Art Provocations This week we continue with art provocations in the morning,  The children have been creating some amazing artwork.  Provocations in the morning provide the children to try a range of different art principles. We always need boxes, bottle caps, yoghurt containers.  It is a great way to reuse your recycling so the children can explore different types of art.  Think of our classroom before filing your recycling bin. Cross Country this Friday The children have been training for this event and are looking forward to running this Friday.  We will get started at 11:20.  The childr
